Zapier Integration

Connect PartsBox to hundreds of other apps through Zapier, with no code. A Zap starts from an event in PartsBox and then does whatever the connected app allows — send an email or a chat message, append a row to a spreadsheet, create a task, or update another system.

PartsBox provides two triggers:

  • A build is completed — for one project, or for any project.
  • Stock changes for a part — for one part, or for any part.

Each trigger can be scoped or broad, and the event carries the data the receiving app needs. A build completed in the workshop becomes a message in the production channel before anyone walks back to a desk; every stock movement on a critical part becomes a row in the spreadsheet the buyer reviews each week.

Where Zapier ends and the API begins

The integration provides triggers, not actions: events flow out of PartsBox, and writing into PartsBox is the public API's job. For full control — reading and writing parts, stock, storage, projects, BOMs, orders, builds, and lots — use the API directly. The API leads PartsBox automation; Zapier covers the cases where a hosted connector and a notification are enough.

The Zapier integration is on the Essentials plan and up. See also Integrations and Data.
